Additionally, a limited number of beach wheelchairs specially designed to traverse soft sand are available free of charge and are offered through the South Walton Fire District (available March 1 - Oct 31, 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.). They are located at the following beach accesses:
- Miramar Beach: Tower 54 (near Pompano Joe’s restaurant)
